Bendigo Art Gallery Corten Cladding

3mm Corten Steel Cassette Panels manufactured by Mitcham Laser Cutting Services clad the new wing of the Bendigo Art Gallery. This unique architectural design blends corten steel with re-claimed Ironbark timber, which helps animate the surface of the structure.

The detailed tapered lines of the corten panels added a challenge in design & production of each individual panel. Each panel was modelled in Inventor to ensure the panels were fabricated with the correct angles and assist with ease of installation on-site.

This project demonstrates the care & attention to detail our designers carry through every project, big or small, and is another fantastic construction we are proud to be involved with.
